I Built Alone. You Won't.
Unexpectedly, suddenly, and with two bags in my hands, I found myself in a freshly renovated apartment—the first place I truly felt safe in years. That apartment became my foundation for rebuilding. I had zero money, no plan, but grit and hustle for days. And a very big God.
While doing gig economy work and figuring out my next move, I heard about a developer who wanted vacant apartments cleaned and photographed. Two weeks later, my company was formed. What started with basic cleaning grew into a comprehensive licensed General Contractor business. I'm a GC! (Only God could take me from two bags and starting over to that.)
Today I manage renovations across LA and Orange County. But more importantly, I learned that building a service business isn't about having all the answers—it's about taking the first step even if you're really scared, figuring it out as you go, and refusing to quit.
